On October 21st in New York, President Christine Avanti-Fischer and Nadine Meehan of the Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons Foundation were on hand to support founder Lisa Lovatt-Smith, and her organization OAfrica.
The organization is ‘focused on strengthening families and reintegrating separated or at-risk children whose rights have been compromised due to poverty, violence, trafficking, and HIV/AIDS into safe, stable and loving environments.
Rosario Dawson, Actress and Co-Founder of Studio One Eighty Nine , served as the evening’s chair. Valentino sponsored the entire evening and as a result 100% of the funds collected will go directly to the families supported by OAfrica. We wish Lisa Lovatt-Smith and her inspiring organization continued success in the future.
