Jonathon Fischer

DC_JonathonBikeGiveawayJonathon grew up outside of Toronto, Canada. After graduation he moved to Germany and completed an apprenticeship. Always eager to acquire new skills and keep up with the changes in technology, Jonathon continued with studies in CAD/CAM, metrology, manufacturing programs as well as a variety of communications, management and certified directors’ courses.

Early in his career he began his management training at Omnitech in Florida. Strategy and business development would become Jonathon’s strong suit. Putting his expertise to good use he joined Mold Masters, a small privately held Canadian company, in 1987. Over the next 23 years he would advance from Mid-Level Management to Executive Vice President, and eventually in 1998 to CEO. During his tenure with Mold Masters, Jonathon oversaw the expansion of the company into a global force – overseeing the opening of factories in Europe, North & South America and Asia. By 2007, the company had over 2,500 employees in more than 55 countries with over 1000 patents pending & received.

In late 2010, Jonathon retired from Mold Masters to pursue his life’s passion: philanthropy. In 2012 he co-founded the Jonathon D Fischer Foundation with his wife Christine Avanti-Fischer. Acting as chairman Jonathon is now realizing his lifelong dream of helping people around the world.
